Count Down: Officially 5 Months

Today is my mother's birthday! I have been watching many YouTube videos about Japan. I'm so excited! It feels hard to contain it sometimes, I feel like I have not stopped talking about it~ Some of the channels I have been watching are Rachel&Jun, Chris Abroad, Sharla in Japan, and a couple random videos from various collaborators. I'm going to try my very best to video my time there but my top priority is this blog <3 So far I have a date for the exchange meeting that I will have to attend on April 6th and I have heard back from four of the twelve scholarships I have applied to. Of the four I have received one, so pretty good odds so far and every little bit counts. I have been practicing writing Hiragana and mostly have been focusing on learning to write them. I have applied a little to reading and installed the Japanese keyboard on my phone. I hope to be able to at the very least be able to recall the Hiragana and maybe Katakana. My friend let me barrow his text

I'm a pretty picky eater and don't eat much of a variety of foods which is something I hope will change over the next year plus. So recently I was officially accepted into my university’s program to study in Nagoya Japan! I’m super excited and have been filling out ALOT of paperwork. There’s still more to come, many meetings and things to buy such as plane tickets, luggage, appropriate clothing, as well as paying rent and buying food while I’m there school supplies, and
